Rooted in a conceptual background, my work originates
from a very personal necessity. It is a snapshot, a way to catch
a moment, an expression of a state. The choice of material is for
that reason very direct, and chosen on what is available at the
moment of creation. The material used is mixed, recontextualised,
but left to be as true to itself as possible, in order to communicate
the idea. The directness is specific to the location: the Internet,
an exhibition space, a conversation, or the street. In that sense
I see the work as a situational ready made.
